Shinryo has been involved in railway projects due to its strength in tunnel ventilation systems, electrical and mechanical services for underground stations and tunnels. The extensive experience counts from the first underground railway project – Kwun Tong Line of MTR Corporation Limited, then the Tsuen Wan Line, Island Line, Lantau Airport Line and Tsueng Kwan O Extension. Adding to the long list are the West Rail, Lok Ma Chau Spur Line and the Kowloon Southern Link of the Kowloon Canton Railway Corporation. In addition to railway projects the Western Harbour Tunnel Crossing and Route 8 Nam Wan Tunnel are certainly our major accomplishments in road tunnels. As there is quite a number of railways and road tunnels in the planning, Shinryo is determined to play a significant role in this sector as a specialist contractor.
